My winter fragrance,

Rihanna - Rebelle

I have lots of summery perfumes/body sprays and thought it was about time i bought one that would be more suited for this Autumn going into Winter. I recently bought a 100ml bottle of Rihanna's perfume "Rebelle" from 2012. lots of you will know it but for those who don't it is the second fragrance released by her following "Reb'l Flaur.

It comes in a Red box with gold details all around it and can sometimes come in a red coloured sleeve with a picture of Rihanna on the front. The bottle it's self is quite quirky, i am not crazy on it as i prefer small pretty little bottles such as Britney Spears' fragrances, Far Away and Vera Wang. It is large at the bottom of the bottle and goes in as you get towards the top, it is a clear bottle with red details on it. I do think the cap is quite pretty, it's plastic and red with quite a glitzy gold details which looks like ribbon.

I personally think it is a great fragrance for winter as the packaging and  parts of the bottle its self are red so make you feel slightly "Christmassy" and has a  rich warming feel to it. It states that the top notes are plum, strawberry and ginger, i am unsure on the plum and strawberry but i can make out a definite ginger scent to it as it does smell quite spicy. The hearts notes are heliotrope, vanilla orchid and coa coa, i have to say i have no idea what heliotrope smells like so i am unsure if i can make that out or not but i can really smell the vanilla with a hint of a "chocolatety" smell in there. The base notes are musk, coffee, patchouli and amber which i don't think you can make out very well. I am a big lover of summery, sickly sweet, fruity perfumes so this one is a bit different for me but i adore it! i think it comes across fiery, spicy, a bit fruity and sweet. i will most definitely be making the most of it this Winter :)

September Haul,

I have bought a few little bits and bobs here and there so thought i'd share them with you in a little September haul, some are very random but hey ho here i go :)

I took a cheeky trip to Primark to get myself a cosy jumper as it is starting to get slightly colder now in the UK so i found this grey woolly jumper for £12. I bought it in a size 12 as i like my jumpers to be oversized and have that cosy feel to them. It's slightly itchy but i normally wear a vest top underneath to keep warm and so it's not too uncomfortable then either. While in Primark i also come across this burgundy chiffon tshirt with a black faux leather collar and sleeves, it is also slightly longer at the back. I am really loving burgundy at the moment and think it fits in great with the Autumn-Winter feel, i also like the faux leather to give it that "edge". This was £8 and also the last one on the shelf in my size which for me means that it's meant to be! ;)

We have now got a new AVON lady which is great because i absolutely love the AVON products so i found myself a new lipstick and concealer. 

I really love pale pink/nudey lipsticks and i'm running out my my Collection one in "Bubblegum" which is a bit too bright for me anyway so bought AVON's own lipstick in "Perfectly Pink" for approx £5, It's slightly darker than i thought but i do like it, it's not too "In your face pink" (If that makes any sense)  but quite is bright enough to see it, i really like this colour however it doesn't seem to last too long on my lips so have to keep reapplying it unlike the Collection lipsticks which are great and very affordable.

I also bought a stick concealer which had been discounted so got it for an absolute bargain at £1.50!! It works so well covering any dark circles around my eyes or blemishes. I put this on under my foundation and it lasts for a very long time too.

I went to ASDA today for a few things and noticed that they have stared selling Yankee candles!!!!! Hallelujah! I've always wanted to buy a tart burner but have never really got round to it so my mum persuaded me to buy it while i can. So i bought a white burner with slight floral detail on the sides. They were also selling the Yankee tarts for £1 each so bought three. I got them in " Vanilla frosting, Cherry Vanilla and Soft cotton" they all smell amazing and i can't wait to burn them once I've bought some tealights. 

While shopping in ASDA  i also come across this really pretty vintage lamp with a gorgeous floral design! It was £12 and fits in perfectly with my vintage themed room, it is also in the same range as a bed cover i bought there a while ago so matches.

Birthday Blog Post,

So yesterday was my 19th Birthday! :) So i celebrated with my family and my boyfriend. We all went out for dinner at a carvery  then came back home to open the presents with a few drinks! I thought i'd share with you my outfit, presents and birthday cake.

I wore my black chiffon dress with a faux leather collar and pieced it together with my brown and cream faux Louis Vitton bag , beige suede vintage style heels, leopard print diamante watch with a black strap and a tan belt (which you can't really see) I was going for a black/browny, beige theme.

Skin Care,

So i needed to to buy another moisturizer as mine had ran out so thought i would buy some new skin care products while i was out shopping to change up my skin care routine! :)

Skin Care Routine:

❤ So firstly i take off all my makeup using my Simple makeup remover wipes.

❤ I then wash my face with my Olay skin cleanser to get off any excess makeup and to clean my face.

❤ Once i have done this i use my Botanics makeup remover to get rid of those panda eyes by pouring  some onto a cotton wool pad.

❤ Once i have washed my face and got rid off any excess makeup i simply apply my Nivea moisturizer before i go to sleep so that it can sink in over night.

♥ Well i had seen my favourite Youtuber's blog (BeautyCrush) and instantly loved it! I enjoyed reading all her posts and everyone seemed so lovely, so felt like it was something that i wanted to become a part of. I've always been interested in fashion, health and beauty products and thought blogging would be the best way to share this with people. I had been thinking for a while "should i?, shouldn't i create a blog?" as i am very shy and wasn't sure if people would be interested in my blog but one day i just thought "I'll do it!" so here i am :)

6) Where do you want to be in 10 years time?

♥ I would love to have some kind of plan out how i want my life to turn out, however i don't i am just taking one step at a time right now. I would love to become a midwife however there wasn't a college course that related to that directly (there is child care but i wanted to do something more on the medical side of things) so i don't know how thing's will pan out.

Day Time Makeup,

So i thought i would share with you my average day time makeup which i would wear to go shopping,  for lunch or a day out.

It is very inexpensive as i don't really purchased many "high end" brands as i usually keep my makeup simple and find most inexpensive brands work for me, however i am starting to try out new brands of makeup and see what they are like and whether i wish to repurchase them again as a regular thing .

 I will have reviews on my new makeup products i buy and possibly  a new makeup routine if i am won over by the new more expensive products!

What i use:

❤ First i apply my Rimmel Macth Perfection foundation with my foundation brush.
❤ I then use my Collection pressed powder to take away the shine left by the foundation.
❤ I normally then apply my Collection eye liner in kohl to my water and lash line as i like my eye liner bold.
❤ Once i have done this i then  use my Collection liquid eyeliner to draw on a winged eye liner affect onto my top lid.
❤ I then use my Collection Colour lash mascara on my lashes, i only use a small layer on my bottom lashes as i already have  apllied lots of thick eyeliner there. I then apply a coat to my top lashes.
❤ Once my lashes have dried i then apply another coat of mascara to my top lashes with my Newlook GOLD By Giles black volume boost mascara. (Depending on how full i want my mascara to look i may add another coat or two)
❤ I then apply my bronzer to the tops of my cheeks with my small brush.
❤ Lastly i normally wear my Collection lipstick in "Bubblegum" which can quite bright so i tone it done by wearing my NYX lipgloss in "Beige" (However it is more of a pinky shade) which also gives my lips that shine as it is a very matte lipstick.
